Reference Sires

Our first stallion was Generator’s Diamond, the most influential TWH sire in the last 20 years. The foals he has produced have been outstanding. They have good conformation (placing well at the Canadian “evaluative” Futurity whenever shown) and excellent gait.  Most gait naturally whether from “pacey” or “trotty” mares. He was humanely put down in 2007.

Trouble's Gold Sun

Trouble's Gold Sun

My daughter at Windwalker Farm, Cochrane, acquired Trouble’s Gold Sun (a.k.a. “Peanut”) as a weanling colt. His heritage comes up through Montana where more “substance” was desired for ranch and mountain work. He is a golden palomino that produces gait, temperament and color!

Even though we had our own stallions available, we bred some mares to outside stallions in an attempt to put the good mares with the best possible stallions. A great mare, Someday Justy ‘Nuff, was taken to Midnight Toddy.

Skyline's Dark Storm

Skyline's Dark Storm

“Toddy” was Canada’s only Supreme Versatility Champion Stallion. This mating produced the unbelievable colt Skyline’s Dark Storm. Stormy was sold to Germany where he is putting his stamp on some good European mares.  Of course he left some excellent foals before leaving!

Generator’s Diamond’s last get is Skyline’s Regulus a.k.a. “Reggie”. Reggie promises to make me forget Stormy. He is a true black stallion exhibiting everything one could ask for in a TWH. He has a mind that is exceptional. He is naturally-gaited, showing it off without any human interference as he moves around his paddock.

His conformation is as close to flawless as can be found in this breed. His conformation and gait have been certified by the Canadian Registry of the TWH Program For Excellence in 2006 where he achieved his Bronze Award, the highest award available at his age. The judge, American FOSH (Friends of the Sound Horse) licensed, commented “Awesome!! Great example of our breed!”. He scored top points in all categories.
